Every year at the end of August our 80 years old fig tree makes the sweetest figs, it was planted by my grandfather, now we enjoy them for breakfast or just get up very early in the morning and grab one to eat right on the spot, cold and crisp from the night cool air. If you are here you too can have as many as you like.
FIGS! One of my favorite fruits! We have them here right now, as well! From figs with cream to fig BBQ sauce – or one of my favorites, figs in beef stew. Any way you eat them, they’re perfect. I wish we could be there sharing some with you, right now!
